DAM脕 Brownbag Sessions
Date: Sep 17 | 2:30 PM - 4:00 PMEveryone is invited to the first session of the 鈥淒AM脕 Brownbag Sessions鈥 on Sept. 17, Wednesday, 2:30鈥4:00 p.m., at the UP 茄子视频app (UPD) College of Social Sciences and Philosophy Health and Wellness Center, Pavilion 1, 3/F Palma Hall.
The resource speakers are Michael Manahan, a lecturer at the UPD Department of Linguistics, and Jayson D. Petras, PhD, an associate professor from the Departamento ng Filipino at Panitikan ng Pilipinas.
Manahan will talk about 鈥淭he Filipino Fear鈥 while Petras will present the lecture 鈥溾楳asay谩 Kung Sama-sama鈥: Pakahulugan ng Say谩 sa Kontekstong Pilipino.鈥
The event is a project of the Department of History and is funded by the Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts (OICA) through the OICA Grants.
